Method of providing affiliations in scientific publications of the University of Environmental and Life Sciences in Wrocław

All authors affiliating to the University of Environmental and Life Sciences in Wrocław are obliged to give affiliations in a consistent way, established by the Rector's Order of 19 July 2023.

The affiliation of the publication must contain an unambiguous indication of the Wrocław University of Environmental and Life Sciences as the scientific unit to which the publication is assigned. It is advisable that the record also includes information about the organizational unit in which the employee is employed, such as the name of the institute, department, address of the unit.

The second important piece of information is the valid name of our University:

• in the Polish version – Uniwersytet Przyrodniczy we Wrocławiu,
• in the English version – Wrocław University of Environmental and Life Sciences,
• the abbreviation of the name (both in Polish and English) – UPWr.

Examples of correctly stated affiliation:

• Uniwersytet Przyrodniczy we Wrocławiu, Instytut Nauk o Glebie i Ochrony Środowiska, Grunwaldzka 53, 50-357 Wrocław
• Wrocław University of Environmental and Life Sciences, Institute of Soil Science and Environmental Protection, Grunwaldzka Str. 53, 50-357 Wrocław, Poland
