Bee&Chill Patio

Bee&Chill Patio – a new reader-friendly space

The UPWr Main Library has created a new place where you can breathe fresh air, relax and chat with friends – the Bee&Chill Patio, a space with social facilities and a courtyard designed entirely by Ms Karolina Kelner from the SKN Architektury Krajobrazu and realised as part of the UPWr Participatory Budget for 2022. Insect houses and flowerbeds full of plants in the Patio will make it an ideal place to spend time in spring and summer, lounging in the shade on comfortable deckchairs and reading a book. It is worth mentioning that the project promotes an ecological approach – some of the materials were obtained through recycling and upcycling. We warmly invite you to enjoy the charms of the Bee&Chill Patio, and to compete in future editions of the participatory budget with equally good projects!
