Purpose and description of the project

Task 1

The project is being implemented by the Library in two parts. The first is the expansion of the UPWr Base of Knowledge in terms of three modules:

Leading Research Teams (completed) – construction of a module allowing the creation of active profiles of Leading Research Groups in the UPWr Base of Knowledge, which enable the collection and reporting of the scientific output of team members.
Patents, products, implementations (ongoing) – development of a module enabling the registration and reporting of complete information on patents of UPWr employees.
Experts (start of implementation: 20.12.2022) – the module will enable advanced search for specialists (experts) in a given field of science.

The second part of the project includes the realisation of tasks related to the construction, implementation and integration of the institutional research data repository with the UPWr Base of Knowledge.

Task 2

As part of the task, remote access to the JoVE (Journal of Visualised Experiments) service was purchased, which, in addition to access to articles, offers over 13,000 videos divided into two sections:

JoVE RESEARCH – access includes JoVE Journal: 13 sections of indexed and peer-reviewed video articles (with PDF version) with Impact Factor in STEM disciplines, aiming to increase research productivity (Behavior, Biochemistry, Bioengineering, Biology, Cancer Research, Chemistry, Developmental Biology, Engineering, Environment, Genetics, Immunology and Infection, Medicine, Neuroscience).
JoVE EDUCATION – access includes JoVE Science Education: 8 visualisation sections designed to work with students in class (Advanced Biology, Basic Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Physics, Engineering, Psychology, Clinical Skills).
