Academica is a digital interlibrary loan service for academic books and journals. It provides access to more than 3.7 million full-text publications – monographs, textbooks, scripts, articles and entire journal issues. Academica's constantly expanding resources include academic textbooks, specialist journals as well as reference texts, fiction and special collections.
Academica provides access to:
- collections under free licences or based on licences granted to the National Library (access from any computer with Internet access),
- copyrighted collections (access via the National Library's terminal located on a dedicated computer stand in the Lending Library).

How to use Academica in the UPWr Library?
- It is necessary to have an active library account (in the case of people from outside the University, please accept the Academica Digital Lending Library Regulations).
- An individual reader account on the Academica platform is created in the Lending Library of the UPWr Main Library.
- Academica resources (protected by copyright) can only be used on site via the terminal located in the Lending Library (during the opening hours of the Main Library).
