Information for national and international libraries

  • Orders can be placed electronically (by sending an e-mail).
  • Each order should be accompanied by a separate bibliographic description.
  • Resources are sent by post (whole books, yearbooks/journal issues) or electronically (scans of articles or chapters from the printed collection or copies of electronic publications - respecting copyright rules and e-resource providers' licences).
  • The following are not lent (scans may be obtained in special cases)
    – prints published before 1950,
    – special collections, rare and valuable works,
    – works in the reference books of reading rooms and departments,
    – doctoral theses,
    – standards,
    – collections in need of conservation.
  • If a borrowed title is lost or damaged, the ordering library undertakes to repurchase a copy of the same edition or a copy indicated by the UPWr Main Library or to bear the costs in accordance with the price list.
