From 12 to 29 December in the Main Library an action „Take a book! Great Christmas Clean-up at the UPWr Library” took place.
Its aim was to find a home for more than 3,000 books removed from the book collection. The subject matter of the book collection was very broad. In addition to textbooks, course books and album publications, there were magazines and duplicates of maps waiting to be collected.
The campaign was extremely popular, and most of the books sold out in a few days. Akademicki Wrocław and Radio Wrocław portal wrote about the campaign.
